The Quest for Speed : Always Pushing the Limits
A few years ago he shifted his focus toward pure speed.
His goal : exceed the boundaries of what was thought possible on the water.
In 2021, at over 50 years old, he achieved one of his most impressive feats:
Breaking the 103 km/h barrier in windsurfing, beating his own personal record and proving that he remained a force to be reckoned with.
He continues to participate in speed record campaigns in Lüderitz, Namibia, one of the fastest spots on the planet.
WIP was proud to support also his Son Liam during few years at the Highest level
If the wind wasn’t as strong as expected during this November 2025 in Namibia, Bjorn managed to have some amazing runs above 85 km/h average !
