From October 7\u201312, 2025<\/strong> in Cagliari (Sardinia)<\/strong>, the combined 49er, 49erFX, and Nacra 17 World Championships<\/strong> brought together 176 teams<\/strong> and delivered a spectacular week of racing, with steady breeze, long swell, and a technical racecourse that pushed crews to the limit, with WIP as an event partner<\/strong>. Meanwhile, Argentina\u2019s Mateo Majdalani & Eugenia Bosco<\/strong> delivered a strong gold-fleet campaign to place 5th in Nacra 17<\/strong>, just shy of the final Medal Series shootout, racing in the Neo Long John MK2<\/strong>, Light Vest<\/strong>, Long Sleeve Rashguard<\/strong>, and Race Tank Top<\/strong>. Titles were decided under a tightened finals format, with high-intensity showdowns rewarding speed, precise boat-handling, and smart risk management. It was a top-tier 2025 edition that confirmed Cagliari\u2019s status as a major stage for modern Olympic sailing and validated the progression of our teams at a benchmark event. From October 14\u201319, 2025<\/strong>, the Crozon\u2013Morgat peninsula in Finist\u00e8re, Brittany hosted the Crozon Foil Festival<\/strong>, the new international format of France\u2019s Foil Open. Over six days<\/strong>, the event featured Downwind Foil<\/strong>, Surf Foil<\/strong>, and Dock Start Pumping<\/strong>, turning the harbour at Morgat into a true foiling arena with packed crowds. In Dock Start Pumping<\/strong>, Tahitian rider Alex (Axel) Pham<\/strong> won a spectacular final ahead of Jeffrey Spencer<\/strong> et Jarrod Snow<\/strong>, with Luke Atkinson<\/strong> finishing just off the podium.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On October 11, 2025<\/strong> in Anglet<\/strong>, the 4th edition of S3 (Sauveteurs, Secouristes, Surfeurs)<\/strong> took place\u2014a day dedicated to sharing best practices between rescue professionals, athletes, and practitioners\u2014organized and founded by Julien Nogu\u00e8s and Gautier Garanx<\/strong>. Launched in 2022<\/strong> following a notable rescue in Anglet, the S3 project is structured around a morning of classroom theory<\/strong> and an afternoon of at-sea scenarios<\/strong>: demonstrations, procedure workshops, refreshers on life-saving actions (including first aid and CPR<\/strong>), coordination between big-wave surfing and coastal rescue, and feedback sessions. The 2025<\/strong> edition reaffirmed the event\u2019s educational and operational focus, designed \u201cby and for\u201d the field, with active participation from the local surf and rescue community. WIP is a partner of S3<\/strong>, and on the water Julien Nogu\u00e8s and Gautier Garanx wore the X-Over Visor and the 50N Impact Vest<\/strong>, underscoring the importance of appropriate equipment in prevention and risk management.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From October 18\u201323, 2025<\/strong> in Leucate La Franqui<\/strong>, the French Extreme Glisse Kiteboard and Wingfoil<\/strong> ran with tramontane blowing at times, short chop, and fast runs, but also two no wind days<\/strong> that slowed the program. In women\u2019s wingfoil<\/strong>, seven races<\/strong> were completed and Vaina Picot, 15 years old<\/strong>, won the French title<\/strong>. She raced with the seniors<\/strong> all week and came out on top in a very strong fleet, just days after taking vice world champion<\/strong> in Cagliari.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the youth division, Sacha, 15 years old<\/strong>, became French wingfoil champion 13 to 17<\/strong>. His result came from steady sailing and good starts. He read the water well, kept his jibes clean despite the chop, and held speed on the reaching legs. After the windless days, he came back strong when the tramontane returned, choosing the right lines and gear for the stronger conditions. He secured the overall in the final sessions with solid heats and calm handling of the start procedures.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
